The proposed works comprise of the following: - Urban Realm improvements including: - Changes to layouts at Market Square - Changes to surface finishes of footpaths, new finishes include granite paving, exposed aggregate concrete paving, Glass concrete paving bands. - The removal of selected car park areas - The installation of public lighting - The installation of new regulatory and pedestrian signage as well as road markings - Changes in the road pavement, new asphalt surface course - Excavation works and reinstatement of pavement layers. - The re-location of some underground services and utilities - Adjustments to existing drainage network and provision of new surface water drainage in Chapel Street
