UK5- NMS NEL Flow Programme (phase 1 interim contract)

The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology has awarded an interim contract valued at £1.3 million to TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory to ensure continuity of National Measurement System (NMS) service delivery while Phase 2 contracts are finalised. The contract covers flow measurement services through maintenance and dissemination of the UK's primary measurement standards for oil, water, and gas, supporting utility metering, alternative fuels, and carbon capture and storage applications. The award was made through direct procurement due to absence of competition for technical reasons.
