Overview

Northumbria University has awarded a contract to R.S. AQUA LIMITED for the supply of Moored Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth (CTD) sensors to support the DeCAdeS project studying ocean-ice interactions in the Amundsen Sea. The sensors will enable continuous, long-duration, high-precision measurement of water column properties including salinity, thermal profiles, and water density beneath and around ice shelves in extreme environments.
