Overview

Carmarthenshire County Council, in collaboration with Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion County Councils, is establishing a regional framework for Working Age Adult Care Home Services across West Wales, structured into three service lots covering Learning Disabilities (including Autism), Mental Health, and Physical Disabilities. Providers with existing care home provision in the region or those planning to establish services within 12 months may apply for one or more lots, and must demonstrate commitment to supporting citizens across West Wales and prioritising regional placements. This is a Light Touch Contract under the Procurement Act 2023 with an estimated value of £470 million and a submission deadline of 10 September 2026.
