Overview
Contract to undertake an Open Market Review to provide an updated view of superfast broadband connectivity across Wales, requesting and analysing data from Communications Providers at the premises level.
The supplier will be expected to provide the following:
A request for information document to outline the requirements for CPs to submit data for the OMR.
Access to data received from CPs and the supplier’s data analysis and conclusions.
A final OMR report (for internal purposes) covering all of the requirements highlighted above to include but not limited to an executive summary, description of methodology, key findings, conclusions, and annexes as necessary.
A summary of responses document to be published on the Welsh Government’s public facing consultation webpages.
A consultation closure notice document to be published on the Welsh Government’s public facing consultation webpages.
Regular updates and progress reports at agreed milestones.
This is a three month contract comprising of an initial one month period of pre consultation work undertaken in March/April 2026 with the subsequent market review element running for the final two month contract period in June and July of 2026.
