Aftercare and maintenance of planted trees in Dovedale & Manifold Valley of the Peak District Dales SAC

Natural England has awarded Sheffield Tree Care Limited a contract worth £21,450 to provide aftercare and maintenance of 10,400 trees planted across 32.5 coupes in Dovedale, Ilam, Ladyside, Ossoms & Soles Coppice reserves as part of the Life in the Ravines woodland restoration project. The work involves inspecting and maintaining trees and shrubs planted to mitigate ash dieback impacts in the Peak District Dales Special Area of Conservation, with trees protected by shelters and stakes requiring ongoing care and monitoring.
