Overview
The Welsh Government seeks an ambitious and innovative partner with a proven track record in programme design, stakeholder engagement, and championing equality, diversity, and inclusion. The successful supplier will design a new Public Appointments Academy – Entry Pathways Programme that is inclusive, bilingual, and accessible to under-represented groups, extending its reach across all Welsh public bodies. This programme should create clear pathways that open doors to a wider range of diverse voices and perspectives and deliver measurable impact.By creating a new programme, we aim to ensure it is relevant, sustainable, and impactful for the future of public appointments. As part of this contract, the successful partner will also develop a consistent, evidence-based framework for assessing candidates for public appointments, embedding fairness, transparency, and alignment with recognised best practice.
