Overview

The Mining Remediation Authority (MRA) constructed a Mine Water Treatment scheme to control rising mine water that had been steadily recovering, the outfall from the MWTS is approximately 1km away from the bathing beaches within the North Sea. The provision is for the Supply and installation of the buoy and mooring and all associated fixings etc. Installation of the buoy and mooring, including the use of divers, must comply fully with all current safety legislation.
