Daytime support for older people with care and support needs

A key priority of the Council's Day Opportunities Strategy is the balancing of larger building-based day opportunities with smaller providers who are able to connect with their surrounding community and make maximum use of the assets around them. The Filo Project Hosts offer an alternative to dementia day centres and residential care, while also creating fulfilling employment opportunities for local people who become hosts and area coordinators.
