WH24014 - Provision of Waste Services

Wolverhampton Homes (WH) is an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) wholly owned by the City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) and manages circa 22,000 domestic dwellings within Wolverhampton. WH operates a housing repairs and maintenance service, a capital investment and refurbishment programme and is involved in the construction of new homes. WH is also a licensed asbestos contractor and has other miscellaneous buildings and open space management responsibilities across the city. This contract is a four-year contract. Initial term is three years with an option to extend for one further year.\r \r Description of the Service Required\r \r WH is seeking to appoint a holistic, efficient, timely, reliable and cost-effective waste management service primarily covering the following FOUR (4) services:\r \r ⬢ Temporary Skip Hire Service: Supply, delivery, collection and emptying of waste disposal containers and skips, including asbestos; \r \r ⬢ Tipping Facility: Provision of a waste transfer / tipping / recycling centre, including asbestos that provides 'cost and time' efficient transfer & storage of WH waste;\r \r ⬢ Static Skip Service: Supply, delivery, collection and emptying of segregated waste disposal containers at a designated site(s) of WH; and \r \r ⬢ Ad-hoc kerbside waste collection Service: Provision for general waste collections from any location within the City.\r \r
