Overview
A Nd:YAG pumped dye laser system is required. Its main use will be in combustion diagnostics studies of turbulent spray flames using the technique of planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF) from 225 nm and above, to observe several chemical species, for example for NO, OH, CH2O.
A low noise scientific camera for example sCMOS, and/or an intensified camera, and UV camera lens are desirable as part of the detection system. The detection system is required to be suitable for quantitative planar laser induced fluorescence imaging studies from 225 nm and above.
The requirement above will be split into 2 distinct lots, within the tender.
