001905 - Spennymoor Town Vibrancy Event

Delivery of one day Street Festival Entertainment Provision at Spennymoor town Centre market place to be organised with the objective of providing a family fun event, boosting footfall in our High Street. Spennymoor Long Term Plan for Towns is an exciting new plan for the town. Durham County Council will be using this event to engage with the community attendees. This event needs to be impactful and create an attraction that would drive additional visits to the High Street areas which would not normally happen. Approximately 1000 people attended last year, with similar if not increased numbers this year expected due to increased level of communications and advertising of the event. The event is inclusive for all people and is accessible for all so is also free to all.
