Overview

The UK Atomic Energy Authority procured an advanced visualisation system based upon nVidia Omniverse technology and the latest nVidia OVX reference architecture. This will be used to visualise plasma and materials simulation at very high spatial and temporal resolutions, as well as demonstrate the ability of nVidia's omniverse in the field of distributed engineering, working with partners in the University of Manchester and the STFC Hartree Centre. The contract will be in place for the initial hardware purchase and on-going support totalling five years from install The competition was completed via the SUPC - Servers, Storage and Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) - Lot 3. This is an award notice only and not a call to competition. Figure include all sums for five year term including VAT.
