Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a Professional Service Short Contract with a Service Provider for use in the appointment of a suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering consultant / Specialist Highway Structures Inspectors to carry out General Inspections of Highway Structures in accordance with DMRB CS 450 The commission is for inspections that are required to be conducted in the 2024/25 financial year and consists of a mixture of bridges, footbridges, subways and culverts spanning various obstacles such as highways and watercourses, railway and heritage railway and the like.
