Overview
The Council requires a specialist provider to deliver a SEND Mediation and Disagreement Resolution Service. The successful provider will provide independent, impartial and confidential mediation and disagreement resolution advice and support in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015 whilst also taking into account the DfE guidance within the SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan.
A closed competitive request for quotation will be undertaken to identify the successful supplier.
The contract will commence on 01/04/2025 and will run for a period of 12 months of the initial contract term making the expiry date 31/03/2026. The contract will have an option to extend by a further 1 x 12-month extension at the sole discretion of the Council and subject to agreement with the successful provider making the latest possible expiry date 31/03/2027.
The budget available for the provision of this contract is £42,500 per annum.
