Working in a children's home can present a challenging work environment due to caring for children and young people with a range of different needs which can be complex needs and include behavioural and emotional challenges as well as legal processes like deprivation of liberty orders. For the Children's Homes Service to be able to provide high quality care to our children and young people, the staff team require a high level of training which is wide ranging in nature to effectively care for and support our young people and meet their individualised needs
