Ground Fuels Management Systems Training

To provide formal GFMS operator training. GFMS is one of two Fuels MIS forming the primary Public accounting system for fuels in Defence and it was introduced over 20 years ago. It is pan-Defence and its use is mandated in the Defence Logistics Framework (DLF). It is used to manage purchase orders, stock receipts, automated authorisation of vehicle access, pump control, storage tank dips, stock adjustment, reports and security measures in MoD establishments. GFMS operation requires a thorough understanding of the processes and procedures for accurately and correctly accounting for unit fuel stocks.
