Overview

Derbyshire Dales District Council (the Council) is seeking a concessionaire(s) to provide ice cream and refreshments on a concession basis. Refreshments include but are not limited to, waters, juice and carbonated drinks and excludes alcohol and hot drinks. The procurement is split into lots based on locations. The lots are within the Councils geographic area and include recreational parks, car parks and the Matlock Bath illuminations event (held during September and October)\r \r Available Lots\r \r Lot 1 - Derwent Gardens, Matlock Bath excluding the illuminations period.\r Lot 2 - Derwent Gardens, Matlock Bath Illuminations period only.\r Lot 3 - Artists Corner, Matlock Bath\r Lot 4 - Station Yard Car Park, Matlock Bath\r Lot 5 - Recreation Ground, Bakewell\r Lot 6 - Granby Road Car Park, Bakewell\r Lot 7 - Shawcroft Car Park, Ashbourne\r Lot 8 - Hall Leys Park, Park Head and Boating Lake, Matlock\r \r A Concessionaire may bid for multiple lots. Each Lot will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the evaluation criteria and methodology detailed in the Process Overview Part One document. \r \r Where a concessionaire bids for multiple lots, they must be able to provide the concession on each site in accordance with the specification.\r \r The initial contract is for a fixed 3-year period. \r \r The Lot 1 concession will operate from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028, excluding the months the illuminations event is held which is currently September and October.\r \r The Lot 2 concession will operate for the 2025, 2026 and 2027 illuminations events. The councils event team will confirm the Illuminations event dates on an annual basis.\r \r The Lot 3 to 8 concessions will operate from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 inclusive. \r \r There will be an option to extend the contract for a further 1 + 1 year period at the discretion of the Council. \r \r \r \r Additional information: The procurement is being managed electronically, using the councils e-tendering system, please select the link below which will transfer you to our e-tendering system where you can register your interest and access the documents.
