The secure building comprises of 7 storeys consisting for various types of rooms such as Bedrooms, lounge areas, dining areas, kitchens, treatment rooms, seclusion rooms, office areas and a reception. The existing electrical lighting within the building is of various ages and are at or near the end of their serviceable life and is in need of upgrading. The ground floor lighting has recently been upgraded in 2023 by contractor Logan so therefore does not form part of the project scope.
