The contract requires the provision and management of catering services at the canteen in Carl-Schurz-Kaserne Hardheim, including the supply of food and beverages for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to all personnel on site. The contractor must independently plan and operate the facility, supplying their own staff and goods, and is responsible for furnishing the dining areas and procuring necessary equipment such as glassware, crockery, cutlery, a cash register system, and a canteen trolley. Breakfast is to be offered Monday to Friday both as a takeaway and for on-site consumption with a breakfast card. Lunch, served Monday to Thursday, should primarily consist of snack items alongside a daily changing main course, available both for on-site dining and takeaway. Dinner must be provided on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from late afternoon until 9 pm, featuring two options each for starters, main courses, and desserts, including vegan and vegetarian choices, with a regularly changing menu. The contractor will also deliver catering for conferences and, upon request, other official and private events. The service must comply with sustainability considerations and food hygiene regulations, with the possibility of restrictions on the sale of alcoholic beverages. The premises and associated facilities are provided rent-free by the client, who also covers operational costs such as utilities and waste disposal. The contractor receives a monthly fee, with revenue from canteen operations retained by them, subject to adjustments if total income exceeds operational costs.
