The tender involves roofing and plumbing works for the new research building at the IFW | ct.qmat laboratory complex. The scope includes approximately 2,950 m² of temporary waterproofing, 2,350 m² of flat EPS thermal insulation, and additional EPS and mineral wool insulation with varying slopes covering around 360 m². The roofing system requires about 2,280 m² of two-layer bitumen membrane waterproofing, along with 125 m² of mineral wool insulation for rising walls. An extensive green roof covering approximately 1,750 m² is also specified, complemented by 450 m² of gravel layers and paving slabs, and 65 m² of concrete slab layers supported on pedestals. The works include installation of 70 concrete ballast foundations, 235 m² of inclined parapet construction with titanium zinc cladding, and 20 m² of fully hipped, colour-coated standing seam metal roofing. Additionally, two roof domes with smoke and heat extraction systems, 25 pre-supplied technical building equipment roof curbs, and sealing of various pipe, duct, and electrical cable penetrations are required. The contract also covers installation of eight roof drains, ten emergency drains, approximately 65 m of gutters, and 40 m of downpipes, all up to DN100 diameter.
