Remse OT Kertzsch, Erneuerung TWA Kertzsch 2. BA: Neubau Trinkwasseraufbereitungsanlage, TA: Maschinentechnische Ausrüstung

The project involves the construction of a new drinking water treatment plant in Remse OT Kertzsch, focusing on the mechanical equipment for the second construction phase. Required apparatus includes eight rubber-lined steel filters with a diameter of 3.0 metres, designed to hold 82 tonnes of filter gravel, 51 tonnes of calcium carbonate, and 28 cubic metres of granular activated carbon, as well as a steel silo with a nominal capacity of 26 cubic metres. Process engineering units comprise a 12-metre diameter scraper mechanism, a double-walled 3 cubic metre storage tank, two flat-bed aerators with a capacity of 85 cubic metres per hour, a 22 g/h chlorine dioxide system, two IBC Safedos dosing units, a rotary lobe blower with a capacity of 500 Nm³/h, fifteen centrifugal pumps ranging from 35 to 225 cubic metres per hour, two bottom sludge scrapers measuring 15 by 5 metres, two ventilation and exhaust systems, a UV treatment unit, and a chemical-grade plastic duct fan equipped with measurement and filtration systems. The contract also includes the installation of approximately 200 metres of PE/PP piping, 1,200 metres of stainless steel (grade 1.4571) piping, and around 90 metres of double piping made from PVDF/PE or PP/PE. Additionally, the supply and fitting of 49 electrically operated wafer butterfly valves, 63 manual wafer butterfly valves, 67 ball valves, and approximately 100 other fittings and ventilation components are required.
