Rohwasserüberleitung TS Neunzehnhain I - TS Einsiedel, Sanierung Betonkanalstrecke zwischen Schacht L-K, Abschnitt C

The contract involves the refurbishment of a concrete canal section between shaft L-K as part of the raw water transfer from TS Neunzehnhain I to TS Einsiedel. Works include earthworks and shoring, canal rehabilitation using a 1000/1700 mm diameter cured-in-place pipe liner over approximately 210 metres in two sections, along with preparatory and ancillary tasks. Three construction pits will be created with shoring to facilitate the installation of a DN2500 glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) precast shaft, serving as a mounting opening and for water diversion. The existing concrete canal, measuring 1200-1000/1700 mm, will be demolished to accommodate the GRP shaft, which will be supplied, installed, and connected with appropriate fittings. Additionally, a temporary water diversion system with a capacity of 300 litres per second will be constructed, operated, and dismantled. The installation of a DN50 cable duct within the existing concrete canal is also required.
