HWRC Operation and Management

The Council seeks a contractor to manage and operate its Household Waste Recycling Centre network across 6 to 7 sites. The contract involves delivering comprehensive HWRC services, optimizing performance to maximize recycling, reuse, and composting while minimizing residual waste. The contractor will also be responsible for developing and supporting commercial income streams related to materials and reuse, as well as managing materials offtake and waste disposal. This procurement supports the Council’s efforts to improve waste management services and establish new HWRC locations.
