Stamford Green Primary & Nursey School ~ Cleaning Tender

Stamford Green Primary and Nursery School in Epsom, Surrey, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning services for its facilities, serving 685 pupils and 85 staff members. The contract, lasting three years from September 2026 to August 2029, will be a fixed-price agreement guaranteeing annual costs for cleaning. Services include routine cleaning during the 195 school days (including term time and staff development days), holiday and periodic cleaning for 20 additional days per year, and coverage of all classrooms with hard floors. The cleaning schedule currently involves three cleaners working a total of 13.5 hours daily in the evenings from Monday to Friday, plus one daytime cleaner for two hours each weekday morning. The school also operates a wraparound care program and community lettings, with an externally run holiday club open during school breaks. The contractor is expected to bring initiative and innovation to the service provision within the existing facilities.
