Overview

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is establishing a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) to provide a range of facilities management and workplace services to the wider public sector and central government. This DPS is designed for lower value or less complex contracts and aims to attract SME suppliers, complementing an existing framework for higher value procurements. Services offered include catering, cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, security, helpdesk support, waste management, smart FM solutions such as Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM), statutory compliance, visitor support, and specialist defense FM services. The DPS covers various building types, locations, and contract values, allowing public sector bodies—including local authorities, health, police, education, housing, charities, and devolved administrations—to select suppliers based on specific service needs. This arrangement provides a compliant and flexible route to market for a broad spectrum of facilities management and workplace-related services.
