Extension of existing Dynamic Purchasing System for the Supply of Passenger Transport Services

• Transport for vulnerable children

  Transport by Minibus, wheelchair access vehicles, private hire vehicles and Hackney carriages. This contract lot is for the delivery of pupils various educational establishments as directed. The Contractor must supply a passenger assistant if indicated within the schedule. Wheelchair access may be required if indicated as children may have poor mobility or other special needs. Contractors must submit a 'rate per day', 'weekly rate', or a combined daily mileage and rate per mile as directed on the schedule and no waiting time is to be charged to this contract. Additional information: This DPS has been extended for a further 30 months to 23 February 2029. The duration given in II.2.7) is the duration of the extension period. The extension will allow Wirral Council and potential bidders time to plan a suitable replacement under the Procurement Act 2023 that also takes into consideration the objectives of the National Procurement Policy Statement. We reserve the right to extend, shorten or terminate, in part or whole, any Lot or the entire DPS at any time giving 6 months' notice. Estimated Value excluding VAT: £61 million GBP

This contract lot is for the delivery of transport of vulnerable adults to day centres or other venues as directed. The Contractor must supply a passenger assistant as indicated within the schedule. Wheelchair access may be required if indicated as adults may have poor mobility or other special needs. Contractors must submit a 'rate per day', 'weekly rate', or a combined daily mileage and rate per mile as directed on the schedule and no waiting time is to be charged to this contract.
